"The greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become" .................. Ben Herbster

2010 will be remembered as a year of change for Rangitoto Sport. Change is an inevitable feature of all sport organizations. It can occur in organizations products and services, its technology, its structures and systems and its people. Sport is in a constant state of change, new team members enter, others move on, coaches come and go as do methodology, philosophy and systems. Innovation, invention and science increase performance in sport and to remain competitive, evolution is a necessity.

The proud sporting history of the college features numerous students who have become national champions, and have triumphed for New Zealand at the highest levels as world champions. This success was built by previous sport department management teams; a stable platform is in place to launch a new era for Sport at Rangitoto College that will continue providing students the tools necessary to reach their full potential and achieve their sporting dreams.
